- Just about anything else
- Camping
- I do alot with computers and electronics, but thats not all I do. I do a lot of camping and I love the outdoors. I have some great camping gear thats good for a decent period of time but I really need a good pack for longer trips, and I'd also like to get a kayak. I'm working on getting both but I have a nasty urge to build rather than buy a kayak.
- The Wearable Mac
- The Wearable Mac is a crazy idea I had near the end of summer of 2001 on the Applefritter fourms Basicaly what it is is an Apple PowerBook minus screen keyboard and some of the dead weight. Recently I've managed to get most of the parts I need and have a wearable's section
- Coding
- Right now I'm working on learning C and C++ for the Mac. I have a copy of codewarrior but I still have to learn the language. For whatever reason I keep putting it off. In addition to wanting to learn the C's I'm also fairly good at BASIC (a really old language), HTML 4 transitional, CSS version 1, and some scripting languages. Unlike many websites anymore I don't like pop ups and pop under ad's I also support good code. Many products anymore require huge rescorces to do less than older programs.
- My other stuff
- If you have seen my systems page you know I have a lot of macs, but some of the other stuff I'm proud of include a Rio Volt MP3 player, the first and second series of the think different posters from Apple, and a Canon AE-1 SLR camera.
- Entertainment
- I like a few forms of entertainment as you can see in my interesting and my current information pages. Music and reading are big ones probably followed by games, movies and TV. I listen to just about anything, bar Rap, Gospil, and Pop. My tastes in books is mostly scifi and techno thrillers. Tom Clany is a great writter if you can get though the books, but a good collection is Combat, I believe edited by Steven Coonts. Its novelets with a techno thriller theme, and relating to fighting wars in the future, from the desert, to space, to cyberspace.
