[ About | Features | System Requirements | Price | Download Software | Version History]AutoLock 5.1 for Palm OS 3.5, 4.0, 5.0 and newerAutoLock protects your Palm's sensitive data from curious eyes or would be thieves. Unlike the builtin Security program, AutoLock is active all of the time (unless you tell it otherwise). Every time you turn your Palm device on you are greeted with the password screen. The password screen is a PIN pad similar to what you find on your bank's automated teller machines and your PIN (personal identification number) can be up to 8 digits long.If the new Scramble Buttons feature is activated then the buttons on the PIN pad are rearranged each time you enter your PIN. This increases security and reduces wear on your screen by evenly distributing where taps occur on the screen. The new "Manual Lock" button temporarily overrides your AutoLock delay setting so the next power on requires the PIN. AutoLock is shareware. This means you can download it, try it out before you buy it, and are highly encouraged to share/beam AutoLock to others who have Palm OS 3.5, 4.0 or newer devices. AutoLock does not fully support the Treo650 and some of the very newest Palm devices. Palm has released Palm OS 3.5 for their older Palm models (III, IIIx, V, Vx, and VII). Upgrade today. What customers are sayings about AutoLock... "I really like this program. I'm still puzzled why something like this doesn't come with Palm OS. It works great with my Treo." - Mike Kanda "a word of praise for Autolock. About a week ago I lost my Palm when the pocket of my backpack wasn't zipped properly, I retraced my footsteps but of course didn't find it so had resigned myself to it being gone for good. About 30 minutes after getting home I got an SMS message on my mobile saying "I know what you are looking for cos I've got it". I rang the number and arranged to meet the guy and got my Palm back, it had fallen out of my bag about 100 metres from my front door. Autolock not only meant that the guy saw my contact number as soon as he turned the Palm on but if a less honest person had found it at least they would not have been able to get to any of the data it contained." - Mike Webb "I am a Police Lieutenant, and was a bit worried about having all the names of the department personnel and some police related files stored on my Palm. When I found your program and tried the demo, I loved it." - Lt. Roth "Feedback - I occasionally misplace my Palm. Usually it finds its way back to me, but the last time it didn't. In addition to having to purchase a new Palm, I had the additional frustration of knowing that my data was totally unsecure and that whoever found it (not an upstanding individual as they didn't return it) had access to all of the information stored on the Palm. AutoLock was just was I was looking for - a simple yet effective way to secure the personal information stored on my Pilot. During my trial period, I left my Pilot on an airplane - with AutoLock installed. Before I had even left the airport, one of the flight crew called me (using the number on the message screen) and I had it back. I immediately decided to register." - Alex Schmitz
