MPG is a log book for your car. MPG replaces the little notepad in your glovebox with an intelligent tracker. MPG tracks fuel, oil changes, tune-ups, inspections, tire rotations, windshield wipers, car washes trips, and other miscellaneous expenses for your car. It generates statistics such as average miles per gallons, total cost of gas, and average price of gas. Fuel economy is calculated for the fuel entries. Time, distance and time per distance are calculated for trips. Trip reports can be generate for tax purposes. Alarms and reminders can be setup for recurring services such as oil changes or change the tire pressures.

Pick one of these versions of WildCat if you want to upload data from MPG to the desktop:
- WildCat for Macintosh - upload and download MPG data to spreadsheets and other Macintosh applications.
- WildCat for Windows - upload and download MPG data to spreadsheets, and other Windows applications.
The is not an Acrobat version of the manual like the Readme file suggests, but here is the NewtonBook version of the manual.
Things you should know
- The files are in .sit and .hqx format so you will need Stuffit Expander to uncompress the files.
- The above versions should work on the OMP thru the MP2000. I've tested it with NOS 1.3 and NOS 2.1 units.
- The services alarms will be quite annoying unless you go into the MPG prefs and set the alarm snooze to something other than 0 days.
