If you would like to improve the Su Doku WorkPad, please help yourself to the Newton Toolkit source code. Apart from improving the solution algorithm, you might like to consider:

• adding a nice icon
• allowing play on any Newton platform (it’s built for OS 2.0)
• adding undo
• saving the state of the game when it is closed
• adding a nice reward when the puzzle is solved
• adding keyboard support
• allowing the player to choose the level of difficulty of a new game
• adding a routing action so you can mail or beam games to other players
