A James Bond stunt driver crashed 007’s
famous Aston Martin DBS into Italy’s Lake Garda today ahead of filming on
the secret agent’s latest movie, ANSA agency
reports.
The unnamed driver was taking the car on to the set of Quantum of Solace at 6am :local time when he lost control for reasons yet to be established and plunged into the picturesque northern lake.
Sky Italia TV pictures showed the car being winched from the water, with ANSA reporting that the stuntman - quickly rescued by firemen - escaped with only minor bruising.
A source said the car was the only one available for shooting.
