Minimizer 1.03 provides the capability to
minimize programs on screen, accessible via a star at the top of the screen. With

un-dragable. The most recent release fixes some common compatibility issues. The latest
version fixes a rare, unexpected hang problem. Credit: Avi Drissman.
UnitMath is a powerful addition for the Newton MessagePad. It computes
formulas anywhere you can write in the Newton OS, making calculations faster and more
convenient than ones done using the MessagePad's calculator. Credit: Paul M. Price.
Morgan lets Newton users take advantage of the
Newton's portable database capabilities, by arranging and cataloging books, CDs, comic
books, tapes, records, laserdiscs, magazines, and any other collections. Morgan has a
range of possible applications for anyone with a large personal library or music
collection. Using the genre search feature, a DJ or home user could find just the right
tune to set a mood. If you need to catalogue your items AND keep track of them, we suggest
using the more detailed MorganPro which includes tracking numbers and lending histories.

Secret offers fast and true DES encryption for
Newton Notes. As long as you never forget your encryption password, you'll love this app.
After installing you will find a little "lock" button in your Notes
options bar. In addition the action picker will be extended by 'Protect' and 'Unprotect'.
These are present only if the selected note is unlocked. The lock in the button line
shows the state of the notes application. If it is locked, the notes marked with 'Protect'
are not available. To open the Note, simply tap on the lock button and enter your
password. This is a 30 day demo. Secret may also perform OwnerInfo encryption. Credit:

The Ink Spot off line news reader includes lots
of options to customize how news is received, read, sorted and deleted. There is no
artificial limit on the number of messages to be downloaded, headers may be kept or
discarded to help save space, and messages may be brought into the Newton's Notepad.
InkSpot also includes a composition feature to help news group posters count to 10 when
needed -- messages may be replied to, edited, mulled over, and sent at a later date.
The popular off line news reader was recently enhanced with improved text to speech
handling and tons of fixes for user reported problems. Credit: DejaVu Software.
