Magic
Pad is a graphical abacus style score keeping aid. You can tap on a dark bead to
increment/decrement the score by 5, and a white bead to increment/decrement the score by
1. The up and down arrows also change the score, and you can write a new score into the
larger of the boxes. Writing a number in either of the boxes to the right of the score
will increment (for the upper box) or decrement (for the lower) the score by that amount.
Magic Pad supports up to 5 players. In addition, it will generate random numbers within a
chosen range, and can simulate a coin toss. Freeware. Credit: Stand Alone Software.
Match Book 1.0 - Match Book is a full featured tennis match charting
program. Just what exactly does Match Book do? It charts 25 different aspects of the game!
Charts - Points Won, Points Lost, First Serve Percentage, Percentage of First Serve Points
Won, Second Serve Percentage, Percentage of Second Serve Points Won, Percentage of Net
Points Won, Aces, Double Faults, Total Winners, Total Unforced Errors, Forehand Winners,

Pick 4 - Lottery Number (Pick 4) version 1.0 is a
very small package which installs into your formulas roll and performs one very simple
function - suggesting a 4 digit number for use in your state's lottery. The number will
change every time the formula roll is opened, or if you scroll it off the screen and back.
Version 2 will add many more options for other games, when I get the time to implement
them. The program is emailware unless you actually win some money...and then its only fair
that you send me some.
Score
Card allows users to keep track of baseball and softball games, compiling the game play
and keeping game statistics for each of the players. It is compatible with any Newton OS
2.X device (MP2000, MP2100, and eMate 300). In addition to the software itself, Newton
Score Card also includes both National League and American League rosters, and the ability
to create custom rosters for any league. Shareware ($50 registration).
Score Pad - This is a simple little hack I wrote
to help me keep score during games of Magic. Just enter the starting scores in each box,
and when the score changes, tap the down or up arrows. If the "Limit to 0" box
is checked, then the score can't go below zero, and when it hits zero (or you try to go
below) the newton plays a sound.
New to the Sports Schedule Pro Family: SSP
Team Stats Add Ons 1.2 for compiling and viewing your favorite team's stats! Sports
Schedule Pro 1.23 and companion schedules help Newton users keep track of their favorite
league's games. Included below are various game league schedules. The latest version of
Sports Schedule Pro includes schedule filtering and tv listing features. SSP Schedule
Maker 1.1 allows users to make their own sports schedules for SSP! The SSP Schedule Maker
is a potential favorite of coaches everywhere - amateur and professional. Below,
Sports Schedule Pro 1.23 (Freeware) , various game league schedules, the SSP
Schedule Maker 1.1 (30 day shareware) and the latest addition, SSP Team Stats Add Ons 1.2

UK Lottery 1 - UK Lottery for the Newton is an
application that allows you to store and check your lottery numbers. The application has
two main screens one for entering the numbers and one for checking for a win. You CHOOSE
your numbers before the draw and then CHECK them. When you choose your numbers you can
enter them for a maximum of 8 weeks. Each time you check your numbers they will be valid
for one week less. The overview "belly button" is a toggle that lets you view
your valid draw numbers. The ? button is for basic help. The CLEAR Button clears any
expired draw numbers, i.e, entries which are no longer valid.
Um-Meter - Newton OS 2.0 only. The Um-Meter
measures the um, er and ar, rates of boring people as they speak and will calculate
per-minute rates for each. It even has an alarm mode incase the um, er, ar per minute
exceeds critical limits.
Treachery Tracker - The Dune Treachery Tracker is
designed to help the Atredies player in Avalon Hill's Dune board game keep track of the
treachery cards that his opponents hold. Each character in the game is represented by 4 (8
for Harkonen) pop-up buttons that can be set to any of the card types, ???? (for unknown)
or blank. In addition the tracker also provides sliders for the Atredies token loss and
the turn number (for Bene Geserit predictions).
xWord Buddy is a multi-featured crossword player
for Newton MP 120, 130, 2x00 and eMate 300. xWord Buddy reads crosswords saved in the
Across Puzzle .puz format at the LitSoft Crossword Gallery or the New York Times crossword
section. The latest release fixes a sound problem with MessagePad 120's and 130's. A few
crossword puzzles are included to start you off. Credit: Tactile Systems.
YAZI (Yet Another Z Interpreter) is a
text adventure engine which takes datafiles as input and allows you to play them on the
Newton. This allows you to play many of the cool games of the early 1980's on your Newton:
Zork, Planetfall, Enchanter and more! Especially cool is playing Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy! Included is a demo version of ZORK, already pkged to get you started.
