The MIS Department is a mid-western based consulting firm specializing in finding solutions for our clients computing needs. We have a PDA (Newton, Zoomer, etc.) consulting team and are producing many applications for our clients. Countdown allows you to count down for a specified amount of time. When that time arrives, a reminder, that you previously wrote, pops up on the screen. HereÕs how Countdown works: - Install Countdown using the Newton Connection Kit or by some other means. - Tap on the Countdown stopwatch from the Extras Drawer. - Write a short note in the ÒNoteÓ area. - Select how many minutes to count down by tapping ÒCount DownÓ. - When you tap ÒBegin!Ó, Countdown will schedule an appointment in your date book with the alarm set on. Your note will appear in the date book and will be seen when the alarm goes off. Using Countdown allows you to add as many timed events to your calendar as you need. - PLEASE NOTE: There is a bug in the Date book package. For now, to activate the timer, you need to tap ÒDatesÓ, then find the timed activity you just added. Tap the side bar next to the activity. Tap ÒAlarmÓ. Then, Tap the close button in the lower right hand side of the window. I know this is a pain, but it is unavoidable right now. You do not have to adjust any values, just Tap the buttons. This package is Shareware. If you find this package helpful, please register. When you register, you will receive support, version 1.1 (via e-mail) which allows for custom count down values and you will also receive updates as they become available.
