MP2000/2100 has recording ability and Notepad has new stationary called "Recording". So you can use your Newton as a "Voice Recorder". This is very useful to record conversations while meetings.
But after that, you may find Microphone level is too low and you can not hear at all. - Oh my !
Here is the solution. You can see the Voice Level and Adjust it !

Install
-------
Use the Newton connection utility (NCU) to install the package.


Usage
-------
Tap the VoiceMonitor icon in the Extras drawer to launch.
The VoiceMonitor displays the Voice Wave.
You can drag the Gain-slider to adjust Microphone gain.
Tap "Freeze" to freeze the Wave. Tap "Monitor" to sample voice again.

If the Voice Wave stops moving without your operation, tap "Freeze" 
button twice, then the Wave will move again.

Try many condition, in silent and loud environment, to dicide apporopriate 
microphone level.
