Scroller does two things. It will scroll the notepad OR the calls app on a "continuous" basis" (a little at a time for as long as you continue to hold the pen on the Scroller arrow, instead of one note at a time. In addition, tapping the center dot will make the topic buttons in a Notepad checklist or outline disappear (or reappear if they are hidden), is the current insertion point is in that checklist or outline. Tapping the close box closes it. Scroller might work in some other applications if they are modelled after Notes or Calls (which are actually at heart very similar apps) but as far as I know, the only applications that this will work in that I've seen are these two.
