SUMMARY

NDcrypt 2.0 light allows you to make Notes from the Notes app
1. UnReadable / Readable or
2. Encrypted / Decrypted
NDcrypt 2.0 light is a Newton OS 2.0 only app.
NDcrypt 2.0 light will work on the Note that is at the top of the Newton Window. This is also true in the Overview mode. If a Note is coded, you'd want to know how it's coded.
<UnRd> stands for Unreadable.
<PsWd> stands for Password.
NDcrypt2.0 light is a US$15 ShareWare program. (See registration at the end of the document).

EXPLAINED

You can switch between "UnReadable / Readable" mode and "Encrypted / Decrypted" mode by selecting and deselecting the "Use Password" item.

Click on the "Prefs" button to get to the Preferences window.
Here you can select with what settings NDcrypt light starts up.
Selecting Password, will start NDcrypt up in "Encrypted / Decrypted" mode.
Selecting Comment, will automatically select the Comment item when you encrypt a Note.

NDcrypt 2.0 light has a trial periode of 4 weeks. After that periode you can only "Decrypt" notes or make them "Readable". If you register, you can fill in the Registration code here, which will provide you with all the options. (See registration at the end of the document).
To "Encrypt" a note, tap the Encrypt button , and you will get this window. Here you can type in your password. The password is 4 to 8 digits long. Use "C" to clear the password in the text field. Use "<-" to Delete the last character in the password.
If "Comment" is selected in the Preferences, then "Comment" will automatically be selected in this window. You can still change the setting in this window.

If "comment" was selected in the previous window, then this window will be presented after you tap the encrypt button. Here you can give a comment of maximum 12 characters to help you identify the Note.
If comment was not selected, the comment text will be "no comment".
