More Newton Stuff from Thorsten Lange ===================================== Check out my Homepage http://pobox.com/~bnet/thorsten for the actual list of my applications together with more informations about them (screenshots,...) > i++< (Shareware) ------ With i++ you can extent/customize the menu shown when tapping an "i-Button". Menu items can be included to open applications (without opening the extras drawer, frozen apps will activated on the fly and afterwards frozen again) or to invoke other special actions (like changing the screen orientation, reset your Newton, system info reports battery and memory status or toggle backlighting). Those info buttons are present in most Newton2.x applications, since it is a standard component of the 2.x user interface. So "your" special purpose menu will be reachable in most situations without getting in your way when you do not need it. In my opinion i++ is a "natural" extension of the Newton2.0 user interface. Please note: i++ does not support Newton1.x systems! Available in German and in English. > Xchange < (Freeware) ----------- is a small currency-conversion table, similar to the built-in one but with additional features: - Exchange rates are saved (just enter the rate once and use it during your vacation). - Store as many different rates as you like (as long as there is any free memory left). - Rates and currencies can be named. Works with Newton1.x and 2.x Available in German and in English. > Wunschzettel < (English: "list of wishes") (Shareware) ---------------- This is a small (check-)list manager with a special feature: Each entry you once made can be "remembered" by Wunschzettel. So after entering its name once you can reuse the item over and over again just on two "taps". A typical example is a shopping list. Instead of writing again and again items like "bread", "tooth-paste", ... you can select these entries from dynamically growing pop-up lists. More Features of Wunschzettel: - Supports multiple lists (each one has its own pop-up lists). - On each list, entries can be assigned to one (of three) different named categories. - Each entry is in one of three states: selected&unchecked, selected&checked, not selected. - Each selected entry can have an additional, temporary small note. - Sort selected entries by four different criteria: alpha, checked+alpha, categories+alpha, checked+categories+alpha There are quite a few areas where Wunschzettel can be found useful - just give it a try! Works with Newton1.x and 2.x Available in German and in English.
