Using the Assist feature of the Newton is a great time saver except when

Assist takes longer to figure out what to do with the phrase than it

would take for you to enter it yourself. 



Assist Todos makes using Assist with todo fun again. No more waiting for

Assist to process a phrase, to tell you it can't interpret the phrase,

or that the phrase is too long.

How To

Install Assist Todos

In Notes write a phrase you want to add to the builtin To Do List and

tap Assist.

Some examples:

  write "todo goto the store with Kris and buy plants" and tap Assist

  write "remember I need to buy mom a birthday card" and tap Assist

Current Problems in Newton OS 2.0

------------------------------------



1. You can have more than 15 words in a string passed to ParseUtter or

you get

"The Assistant cannot interpret this."



2. 10 word expressions take an unbearably long time when you have 1000+

names due 

to how Assist tries to be intelligent.

Install IGOR.pkg. IGOR is freeware developed by Catamount Software to

fix the above problems. Just install the version of IGOR that was

included with Assist Todos
