Mac Startup Sound Packs

These files are extensions for use with SleepSoundPro.  If you don't have SleepSoundPro currently installed on your Newton, STOP NOW.  It's useless to install these without SleepSoundPro (SSP).   You can get SSP from almost all major archive sites or I can mail it to you.  A ReadMe file for SleepSoundPro is included with this file if you'd like more info.





How to use it:

On a Newton with SleepSoundPro already installed, simply install the desired sound.



There are four sound files included in this package.  They're the startup beeps from 4 major Macintosh models; the 128, II, Quadra and Power Macintosh.



Once installed, select the desired sound from the SleepSoundPro Formula panel.  You can use any sound for either sleep or wakeup.

Please note, this is beta test software.  It is not known to be completely free of defects or bugs.  It has been tested and will not disrupt your Newton.  However, should some unforseen problem develop, we cannot be held responsibe.  Please back up your Newton before using SSP or any new software.

This package is FREEWARE.  They're not my sounds anyway, so it would be out of line for me to charge anything for them.  Of course, the app you'll need to use these sounds is mine and it's Shareware for $20.  If you use this a couple of times, like it and

encourage a friend to use it, that's a fair statement to it's value.  Send the

fee.



Please print out the disk file "Register.txt" included with the SleepSoundPro package. It contains the necessary information for you to complete.  It will also help us

keep accurate records of all registered users.  You do want your updates, don't

you?



Be SURE to include your e-mail information!  You won't get updates without it!
