All Thumbs adds a page up/down button palette to your Newton.  It will automatically appear when viewing Newton Books.  Version 2 uses an Extras icon, version 5 takes a little more RAM.







Assistance! version .9 - Shareware $15



Assistance! adds a pop-up menu to your Assist button.  Instead of trying to write Call, Fax, Remember or Schedule (and correcting the mistakes) you can now simply pop-up a list of the verbs and select one.  A must have for all serious Newton users.  Assistance! also extends the functionality of any other application that uses Newton's Intelligent Assist functions by making them instantly accessible.







CallLogger version .4 - Shareware $5



CallLogger extends your Newton's Call function.  Now, instead of just making calls and having no record of it, CallLogger automatically creates a record of it in your NotePad.  When you use the built-in Call function, CallLogger will record the date, time, name and number that you called.







CardCloser version .1 - Shareware $5



CardCloser automatically closes the dialog box that appears everytime you insert a card.  While it's nice to see when the Newton has finally recognized and processed an inserted card, I found it rather annoying to dismiss it manually.  CardCloser does it for you.  Thanks go out to Zz for this idea.





nAreaCodes version .2 - Shareware $15



nAreaCodes installs a Formula panel with a list of all US telephone area codes.  So before you make that long distance call, check with nAreaCodes to be sure!





nConverter version .3 - Shareware $15



nConverter adds a new panel to your Newton Formulas application.  nConverter contains conversion forumulas for many popular units; speed, measure, length, temperature and the ever popular Salary.  Use it any time you need to check how many inches in a meter, or how much a $.25 an hour raise really affects your weekly paycheck.







nDial version .7 - Shareware $15



nDial installs a much louder and better featured telephone dialer to your Newton.  If you're frustrated with not being able to use a public phone because your Newton won't make loud enough tones or you have to re-dial and don't want to plug in the number AGAIN, then nDial is for you!







nExchanges.MD version .1 - Shareware $5



nExchanges.MD is a Formula panel of Maryland telephone exchanges.  If you need to look up an exhange, then this is for you.  This allows you to find out where a telephone number is located.  Simply enter the first 3 digits of the number and nExchanges will tell you where that number is located.  This version is for Maryland only, no other areas are available at this time, but soon...







nStyles version .3 - Shareware $15



Are you frustrated not being able to use the Espy font in your Notes?  Is 18 point type just too small for your Notes?  Then you need nStyles!  This app overrides the built-in Newton Styles application.  It replaces Styles with a much better list of fonts, sizes and styles.  Now you can choose Outline and Italic, Espy, up to 72 point type and more!







PickExtras version 1.17 - Shareware $15



Jumping from one app to the next can be time consuming, all that tapping to get to the Extras drawer, not the mention, it won't scroll to see all your applications.  PickExtras  solves this problem.  Now instead of jumping through the Extras drawer, you can tap the Extras button and a list of you applications will appear.  Simply tap the name of the application from the pop-up list and it will open.  A must have for all serious Newton users!







QuickAlarm version .1 - Shareware $15



Using your Newton for reminders and alarms is a handy feature, but creating those alarms can be a time consuming effort!  Try using QuickAlarm instead.  QuickAlarm allows you to add simple reminder notes much faster than the normal methods.  Simply select the number of minutes and the text to display.  QuickAlarm will create the reminder and automatically create it in your Dates application.







SleepSoundPro version .8 - Shareware $20



I don't know about you, but I want more than those simple little beeps the Newton makes.   I'm a sound junkie and I want to hear those funny sound bites like my desktop computer makes.  SleepSoundPro let's you change the sounds your newton makes when it wakes up and goes to sleep.  







uniCode version 1.01 - Shareware $5



This utility is for all Newton developers.  uniCode will show you all the characters in the Newton's fonts and their uniCode numbers.  So if you want to see what the codes for all those fancy little icons are, give uniCode a try.







userDict version .2 - Shareware $5



If you're like me, the Newton dictionary can be difficult.  There are a lot of words each of us need that are not in the Newton dictionary.  Now, instead of manually writing, correcting and entering each new word, one by one, you can use userDict.  Simply select a word (or words) from anywhere on the Newton and use userDict.  All the selected words will be automatically added to your personal dictionary.  No more misrecognitions for those special words!
