OneTap scrolling Notes enhancement



What is OneTap Scroller?

------------------------

OneTap Scroller is a Notes application enhancement that allows OneTap scrolling to the top of the next or previous note, even if the current note is longer than the visible screen.



Requirements

------------

OneTap Scroller is available for Newton OS 2.0 and 2.1. It has been tested on a MessagePad 2000 and MessagePad 130. No testing on a MessagePad 120 or eMate 300 has been done, but no foreseeable problems exist at this time.



Installation

------------

Install OneTapScroller.pkg as you would with other Newton software, by downloading it to your device using the Newton Connection Utilities, Newton Backup Utility, Newton Package Installer, or other package installation utility. OneTap Scroller will install an icon in your Extensions folder in the Extras drawer and a button on the statusbar of the Notes application.



Use

---

Tap on the up arrow to scroll to the previous note

Tap on the down arrow to scroll to the next note.



You may hold down the button for continuous scrolling.



Tap on the up arrow with the end bar to scroll to the first note in the folder.

Tap on the down arrow with the end bar to scroll to the last note in the folder.



If you attempt to scroll past the first or last note, the Notes application will appear to "stutter."
