About





Namigator is a Names enhancement that:

	1. enter the first few letters of a name and moves you to that name card

	2. allows you to mark name cards that you commonly refer to,

	3. allows you to navigate the names, email, or phone popup list from the routing slip,

	4. installs over the top half of the Names Button on MP120s and MP130s so you can access Namigator from anywhere.  If Namigator is used on MP2000s then my suggestion is to replace Names in the button bar with Namigator. You can open names from the Namigator window by tapping the scrub icon.

	5. supports Stand Alone's Speed API, so Namigator works in DateMan.

	6. includes all functionality that was built in to NameDropper 5.02 (See ReadmeND for NameDropper directions)



How To



Install Namigator.pkg .

Tap on the top half of the Name button icon or tap on the ..?.. button in the background app.

	% Write the first characters of a name you want to go to. This works for Names and the list popup of names for fax numbers and email addresses. (see the Namigator web page for illustrations). 

	% Tap the zig-zag line to erase the text

	% Tap the zig-zag if Names is not open to open Names

	% Tap the diamond to add the current name card to the common list or to select a name from the shortcut list to go to that card

	% Tap the Hand to drag the window

	% Tap the 'i' in the circle to see the version and contact information for Namigator



Hint

	% If you enter a '_' Namigator will convert it to a space. You can enter "macia_h" and Namigator will convert it to "macia h" (last name space first name). Namigator opens to my name card. This is useful if you have many people with the same last name and you want to get to a specific one.
