GPS Map Lite is freeware!



GPS Map Lite, the powerful GPS and Moving Map based navigation solution for Newton, is now freeware and may be downloaded via http://www.soaring.de/gps/GPS_Map.html.



The software supports any GPS receiver with an NMEA183 compatible interface (including TripMate) and the Rockwell/Centennial SatNav GPS Card (both binary and NMEA version). Although GPS Map Lite 1.2.5 still supports NOS 1.3 you should use a NOS2.x Newton for maximum performance.



On the server you will find different archives for Macintosh and Windows containing the Newton packages, all the specific tools needed for making your own maps in any scale or cartographic projection and documentation in Adobe Acrobat format!



You will also find some demo maps for Germany, New York, San Francisco and San Diego.
