VetNotes is an advanced animal data collection system for the Newton from
ProAccess Systems Inc.  This version is a conversion from an existing human 
medical application ("MedNotes") , so this program has already gone through 
over a year of debug and beta development in the human field.  VetNotes is a
conversion from that program with various changes to handle ownership 
information for the animals.

The most important aspect of the program is its ability to provide extensive 
quick-pick word lists to build a medical report. This avoids the problems with
handwriting recognition.  Each species or breed can be assigned a set of 8 word
lists.  Then the medical lists will apply only to that species or particular problem.

The human software has extensive medical content that applies to humans, but
this program is just getting started and so it is lacking that type of relavant 
medical information that applies to animals. I have no knowledge in that field 
so I am looking for beta testers who want to use this software for free and 
contribute medical content for use in the program.  See the enclosed beta request
for details.

This data management tool includes an enhanced encounter format which includes 
SOAP, lab and Rx fields, extensive quick pick word lists associated with up to 16 
Problems, fax/printing, backup capability to a Macintosh computer, and excellent 
data entry performance. 

The 16 wordlist sets chosen by the user to match their practice, can be downloaded 
from a Macintosh. The downloader/Backup software is available now.  

 This is the Demonstration version of VetNotes.  It is limited to 4 animals, otherwise
 it is full function. I will keep a up-to-date demo on America Online.

product is a statement that you have agreed to the conditions of that license.  
Do not use the product if you are unwilling to agree to the license. This is an
agreement required by Apple Computer and  ProAccess Systems Inc. 

The program package includes the main program, "VetNotes", and a utility 
program, "VetData",  for initial setup. The utility program can be removed
after installation to save memory space.
