Session Scheduler was designed to enhance the Dates application in the Newton MP2000; while it will run on the MP120 or 130, the speed of the 2000 is what makes the utility shine.

WHAT IT DOES
Basically, Scheduler was designed specifically for studio musicians to use to enter recording sessions into their calendars. For this reason, the fields are customized for this purpose; you can, however, use Scheduler anyway that you want, and I welcome comments from users.

Date picker--for choosing the date of the new event; when you choose a date, you also see currently-scheduled events at the bottom of the window.

Time picker--Choose the time for the new session or event

Duration--Set the duration of the event in hours

Checkboxes--Use for setting whether the new event requires cartage (if youÕre not a musician you probably wonÕt know what this is), whether youÕre the session leader, or whether this is not a firm session but just a HOLD.

Type--Sets the type of session

Studio--Choose the name of the studio from an editable list of up to 40 studios; use the EDIT button to edit this list

Client--Choose the clientÕs name from an editable list of up to 40 clients; use the EDIT button to edit this list as well.

WEEK BUTTON--shows you your calendar a week at a time; PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons take you to previous and next weeks, respectively.

RECALL BUTTON--recalls last event entered, to make it easier to make a second entry with similar data

CLEAR BUTTON--clears the data from the screen, but not from the calendar

ADD SESSION--use to add a session to the Dates application.
