EuroDSTPatch-ReadMe Until last year, european daylight saving time stopped on the last sunday in september. This year this was changed, it now stops on the last sunday in october. This little program patches the dst stop month accordingly. Launch EuroDSTPatch and press the 'Change' button. That's all! You can view the change in the Time Zone application. =================================================================== Version 2.0: The first version worked, but caused a problem in the Time Zone application: in the popup-list with the different daylight saving times, the European dst was displayed twice and the North American dst disappeared. As a workaround, this version clones all dst entries. With the new version, you can remove the patch. The 'Change' button changes to 'Remove' after you have made the patch. If you have already used the the first version, remove the patch and then redo it by tapping 'Change'. =================================================================== Note: EuroDSTPatch only runs under NOS 2.0! Afterwards you can delete the program from your Newton, the patch will remain even after a reset. * For technically interested people: Normally, the soups which contain * the Time Zone informations are not accessible with a soup editor. * The patch creates a soup named "DaylightSavings", you can access this * soup with any soup editor. If you ever want to undo the patch, remove * the entire soup. CAUTION: All modifications to other dst entries will * be removed too!
