HyperNewt v2.0 HyperLink Manager for Allpen's NetHopper

1. Introduction



HopperLink is a small package that adds a HyperLink

manager to HyperNewt v2.0.  It allows you to link

web files from NetHopper into HyperNewt's folders.





2. Requirements



- NetHopper (Note: only tested with NetHopper 3.2 beta)

- HyperNewt's HLM Soup must exist





3. Installation



Use Newton Connection Utilities or some other means to

install the package.  If there are other NetHopper

HyperLink managers installed, it will give you the

option to erase them before install.  If you opt not

to erase existing managers, installation will be

aborted.



Note: it is not recommended that you delete any existing

HyperLink managers unless you are certain that they are

old versions of HopperLink.  HyperNewt or NetHopper may

include their own HLM's in the future, that may have

more features then HopperLink.





4.  Uninstalling HopperLink



When you remove HopperLink it will clean itself up

by removing any HLM's that have been installed by

HopperLink.



5.  Limitations



HopperLink cannot yet handle URLs with query text.

This will (hopefully) be corrected in a future version.





6.  Version History



1.0 beta 1 - Initial version, never released due to

             excess heap usage.



1.0 beta 1a - Heap issue fixed.  Updated installation

              and removal scripts.  Few other minor

              fixes.
