Called conditionally when the global preferences for Newton Works are changed.

prefsFrame

A frame containing the following slots:

metricUnits True if the measurement unit is set to centimeters; nil if inches.

internalStore True if all items are to be stored on the internal store; nil if they can be stored anywhere.

return value

You can return anything; it is ignored.
