A very cool travel app!
Just enter the location you want to be at! Users can enter an address for
any avenue in Manhattan and the application instantly gives the nearest cross-town street.
This demo calculates streets only for Fifth Avenue addresses. New in version 1.5,
enter any street address and CrossTown finds the closest avenues. Credit:
True North.
This program shows a map of the United States and shows the name of the
state and its capital when the map is tapped on a state. This app is in landscape mode.
Caveats - "State Capitals" may not work well on a screen set to lower contrast.
It's hard to tap on a small state. The icon in the extras drawer is a little too tall.
Some irregularly shaped states can't be tapped everywhere, such as the Texas panhandle.
Alaska and Hawaii do not have a map outlines, just buttons. The author sends apologies to
the 49th and 50th states.
