Package: DCI Scores Version: 1.3 Date : August 20, 1998 Author : Len Kawamoto About DCI Scores ================ DCI Scores is a Newton Book that I originally wrote as a learning experience. It is a compilation of all Top 12 Finals scores for DCI World Championships from 1972 - 1998. I believe this can be used by Drum Crops buffs (that also own Newtons) as a handy-dandy means of carrying this valuable data with them at all times. Installing DCI Scores ===================== Please consult your documentation for NPI (Newton Package Installer), NCU (Newton Connection Utilities), or any similar Newton Package installer application. Using an application supporting Newton Package installation, download the file (DCIScores.pkg) on to your Newton device. Using DCI Scores ================ After downloading the package on to your Newton device and placing it in a folder, select the folder and click on the DCI Scores icon. DCI Scores is a full-fledged Newton Book -- please consult your owner's manual on how to use a Newton Book. In addition to the basic information, there are several locations within the book that contain active contents. Simply clicking on these active contents will 'jump' you to another section in the book... it should be pretty intuitive. Removing DCI Scores =================== Open the folder that the program is stored in and simply scratch-out the program icon... may you never find a need for this procedure. Legal Stuff =========== DCI Scores is freeware. The distribution of this program must not include any fees not directly associated to shipping or media costs for the distribution process. If you would like to include this program in a commercially available collection or package, please contact the author and ask for permission first! Any form of distribution for this program must include (or made easily available) the following unmodified files: 1. DCIScores.pkg The Newton Package file. 2. DCIScores.txt The text file documentation. - OR - DCIScores.doc The MS Word documentation. *** This means providing the package and at least one form of documentation. Most of the information compiled in this book is reprinted with permission from Drum Corps, International. All rights reserved. Happy 8/20 !!
